unmistaken child

Hi all.  This thread is for people to write about whatever movies they’ve watched on TV, dvd, at the theater, either recently or whenever.  You can respond to what others have written or talk about any movie you want to.  Students might enjoy this thread most.

Last Saturday, Sept. 5, I saw Unmistaken Child, at the Harris in downtown Pittsburgh.  It’s a documentary by Nadi Baratz, an Israeli filmmaker, about a Buddist monk who goes in search of the reincarnation of his master, who died at age 84.  He finds a 1 1/2 year old boy who seems to be the one and brings him to the monastery to be tested.  The boy, then about two, passes a test in which he finds about seven items that he owned in his previous life.  It’s absolutely amazing.  A beautiful movie about love, devotion, and spirituality.

Jason,  What’s the topic or plot of your screenplay?  Would you be willing to share some of your work with English classes next semester?  Thanks,
